COMMUNICATIONS & CRISIS MANAGMENT
These services include assistance with communications, negotiations, and conflict resolution strategies to help organizations with crisis management and to help resolve both internal and external disputes with the least disruption to operations possible. POLICY GOVERNANCE® TRAINING
The Policy Governance® model provides an integrated and purposeful approach for boards of directors to effectively provide the governance and leadership needed for organizations to thrive. Stephen Novotny provides Policy Governance® training and seminars through Graybeal & Associates, LLC, an organization that for over 20 years has been providing certified training and resources on this governance model originally developed by Dr. John Carver.
ABOUT

Stephen Novotny serves as a special advisor to multiple organizations using his experience and success as an organizational leader, public policy advisor, attorney, and school administrator to help others succeed in their mission. He has served as Vice President for Public Policy & General Counsel for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), as the Head of School and Executive Director of Cypress Christian School, and has provided legal counsel and operational guidance for the the largest of Fortune 100 corporations as well as for for private businesses and non-profit organizations.
​
Before his work in public policy, law, and education, Stephen served as a platoon leader in a U.S. Army mechanized infantry/armor division and was awarded an Army Commendation Medal for leadership.
​
Stephen Novotny holds a Juris Doctorate from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University, where he received the distinction of being the institution’s Distinguished Military Graduate. He is licensed to practice law and is a member of the Texas State Bar and the Washington State Bar.

In addition to providing special advisory services to private clients, Stephen is a senior consultant and advisor with Graybeal & Associates, LLC focusing on Policy Governance® training, strategic planning, leadership consulting, and helping organizations safeguard their mission and religious freedom.
